# JMap Extensions

Some [JMap Server extensions](/e/administrator/jmap-server-administrator-manual/jmap-server-extensions.md) require the configuration of specific parameters at the layer level. 

The layer configuration interface has tabs for each of the extensions that need to be configured at that level. 

Once the settings are configured, press **Save**.
