# Creating Style Templates

To create a new style template, press **Create**.

The rest of the configuration depends on the selected element type and is identical to normal style configuration. See [Style](/e/administrator/jmap-server-administrator-manual/resources-layers/configuring-layers/style.md) for more information.&#x20;

Press **Finish** to complete the creation of the style template.
