# Search Tools

Search tools ![find](https://content.gitbook.com/content/DUF1p2rT0hfE3QBlbbvE/blobs/e3JeybX0Hj7Iy9BaSUh4/find.png) allow you to find elements on the map using spatial (spatial query) or descriptive (attribute query) criteria. 

Attribute queries are defined in advance by the JMap administrator. 

The search window displays all available queries.
