# Documents for JMap NG

JMap Documents allows the user of a[ JMap NG application](https://docs-jmapserver-lima.k2geospatial.com/e/applications/jmap-ng-user-guide) to access documents in a document repository or document management system from the map. 

The JMap Documents extension provides features to: 

* Search for documents in document repositories based on different criteria. 
* List documents that are associated with map elements, displaying their metadata. 
* Download documents.
