El usuario debe poseer los permisos pertinentes para editar los datos de la capa. La ventana acoplable **Edition** da acceso a las herramientas de edición que comprenden las herramientas de dibujo de las geometrías (puntos, líneas, polígonos, textos, etc.), de selección y de añadido, desplazamiento y supresión de nodos.
